This Christmas it’s vital you make sure your property insurance covers the contents of your home! Nobody wants to end up having the tacky Christmas decorations for all the family to see! So we’re here to help you avoid all those irrelevant decorations, here’s our Top 5:
5 – Fake Christmas Presents
There’s nothing better than a little kid on Christmas day thinking they’ve got more presents to come from the tree, and to then find out it’s just a decoration! These decorations are also irrelevant as when you receive presents, you open them and enjoy what is inside. I personally think these should not be decorations, as presents are for unwrapping not for looking at!
4 – Father Christmas Candles
Nothing yells “Merry Christmas” more than lighting Santa’s hands. When it comes to candles, all you need is some normal candles or maybe with Christmassy scents to them. What you don’t need, is candles like this where your Children’s hero has his hands set alight. Therefore this decoration is not needed in your Christmas selection!
3 – Weird & Wild Christmas Trees
When it comes down to Christmas Trees, usually people go for a traditional Christmas tree which is nice and colourful with lots of beautiful decorations. This automatically brings the Christmas spirit levels up in your home! However, not everyone goes for this choice…Over the years I’ve seen many Christmas trees that are so bizarre you would think the owner doesn’t know what time of year it is! In my opinion, I think that these kinds of trees should be saved for other celebrations.
2 – Singing Santa’s
Where do I start with these annoying little toys! Every Christmas there’s always that one member of your family that brings one of these toys to the Christmas dinner. I know it’s Christmas and all, but I don’t need a little toy Santa singing to me every other minute; could possibly be THE worst Christmas decoration ever!
1 – Tacky Christmas Lights.
All are better than this; there are always a few people who go a bit over the top with their Christmas lights. Even though all they’re trying to do is get in the Christmas spirit, they may be going too far with all these bright lights on the outside of their house. They still represent Christmas, but at the same time are annoying, tacky, and overall not very nice to look at!
